Kluivert recovered from his injury just in time and so he started in the match against Liverpool. A promising first part of the game ended with Kluivert scoring the 0-1 for Newcastle. However, within 5 minutes Liverpool made 2 goals and by final time the score was 3-1 for Liverpool.
