Although he was initially invited to play with the opponent team of European Veterans along with Stoichkov, McManaman and Karembeu, Paddy played the full 90 minutes for FCB veterans. Although his team lost with 1-2, he was one of the best players on the pitch. |

| The annual game between the Royal HFC and a team of ex-internationals ended in a 3-3 draw. Kluivert played the first 45 minutes of the game. The all-time topscorer of the Dutch national team did not score a goal. The first goals were scored by Van Hooijdonk, while Trustfull scored the 3rd goal. |

| Kluivert has still not given up hopes to restart his active football career this summer. He will however be the first active player to appear in the team for retired National Team players. The team, which will also includes Dennis Bergkamp, will play their annual game against the Royal HFC saturday-evening in Haarlem this Saturday. |

| Last night, Patrick Kluivert participated in the Jaap Stam farewell match. The match was between Ajax (coached by Marco van Basten) and a team of friends (coached by Hiddink and Ancelotti), consisting of many great players like Davids, Bergkamp and De Boer-brothers. The game ended 3-3. |

| Patrick Kluivert today started his traineeship at AZ Alkmaar as part of his course to become professional football coach. In this temporary function, he will train the strikers of the youthteam of AZ Alkmaar. As soon as he receives a good offer, he'll immediately stop his coaching course and continue his active football career again. |

| Lille OSC coach Claude Puel announced today that Lille will not extend the contract of Kluivert at Lille. The French coach however did state he was "very satisfied" with Kluivert this season, especially "with what he brought to the group in training and in the dressing room." |

| Lille OSC have finished their season in a painful way, without any prizes and without qualifying for European football. In the last week of the season, Lille had to win against FC Lorient but couldn't get any further than a 1-1 draw. As a result Lille dropped in the rankings from the 5th to the 7th place, missing European football next season. Patrick Kluivert did not play last 2 weeks and probably won't continue at Lille. |

| Patrick Kluivert has decided to take a course to become a professional football coach. The Dutch football association had offered him a shortened course only available to Dutchmen who played in five European finals. The other students for the shortened course, are Dennis Bergkamp, Philip Cocu and Michael Reiziger. The course will start in August. |
